Merry Christmas everyone!
It’s been a few weeks since the last post but I’m happy to report that Roger’s health and appetite continue to improve All of his labs and Dr. visits have been positive, so I think we are finally headed in the right direction. We’ve even had to exchange a few pairs of slacks/jeans for a larger size. 30-32s…that’s all good!!
Roger quickly graduated from using his walker to walking with a cane and tries to get out and walk up and down the sidewalk next to the house. His strength and “speed” improve daily. We still use his wheelchair (stroller as I call it) when we go on long shopping runs such as we did for Christmas. He does make a darn good shopping cart. Only problem with the wheelchair, no drink holders for the driver and the “shopping cart” gets full real fast.
It certainly has been a year to remember and to be so thankful for so many things. We are truly thankful that Roger was able to receive a new liver and is with us this year for the holidays, something we weren’t sure of last year at this time. We are so thankful for all of you who have supported Roger and continue to pray for his continued good health. Thank you!!
We wish each and everyone of you good health in 2011. Merry Christmas!!

What great news–we get concerned when we don’t hear from you but assumed correctly that it’s just a busy time with the holidays. What a Blessed Christmas!
Merry Christmas to both of you. May the new year bring special blessings.
Good to meet you and Deb for dinner last night, Roger. You’re doing just great!!
It was wonderful to read your Christmas message and see the great pictures! I’m glad you are all doing so well and proud of Roger, you are amazing us every day! I hope to come to Phoenix in January with Mike, maybe the week of the 9th, but don’t hold your breath…those airplanes may be full of folks from the east getting away from the ice and snow! I’ll call you if (we) make it out, you never know from day to day Mike’s work schedule changes. Love, Mary
Glad to hear you all had a great Christmas and that all is well. You go Roger…Happy New Year!! All is well here.A&K
This such wonderful news! We think of you all often and are so grateful for all the progress Rog has made. SO GLAD he is home and gaining ground!! A Happy New Year indeed!
