This book has been extremely helpful in caculating the good amino acids in protein versus the bad amino acids. It breaks down every type of food commonly eaten and has been great in planning Roger’s meals. Just to note: the good amino acids Isoleucine, Leucine & Valine should be a higher number than others. I’ve actually taken a highlighter and charted the foods that we commonly eat for quick reference. It is the book that our nutritionist uses and highly recommended. Although a little overwhelming at first, it would be a great tool for anyone suffering from cirrhosis.
